Latex and Foil balloons have different lifespans but it is also dependent on helium grade. Ily Red uses 99% pure helium, as western Alberta is quite high in altitude which dramatically affects float time.
Foil balloons often float for 3 weeks but get crinkly after a while.
The standard industry quality latex balloons only have an expected lifespan of about 8 hours. Ily Red offers the best latex balloons available and we do not offer untreated balloons so we can get maximum float time.
Our treated Solid colour balloons regardless of regular, satin, pearl, or chrome colours can last well over three weeks but generally average about two weeks, which is very good for our altitude.
The cool looking Print patterns such as stripes, animal prints etc will typically last a week or ten days due to the manufacturing method.
Treated Latex balloons keep well when cold but do not last as well in the sun or humidity.
